Terms of Service
Last updated: October 18, 2026
These terms apply to website design and related services provided by Digital Touch (“I,” “me,” or “Digital Touch”) to you, the client. By paying for a package or approving a project, you agree to them.
1. Services
Digital Touch designs and builds websites for small businesses and offers an optional monthly website care plan. The scope of each project is the package you purchase (Starter, Standard, or Pro) as described on digitaltouchwi.com, plus anything we agree to in writing.
2. Pricing and payment
- Prices are listed on the website and are in U.S. dollars. Custom work is quoted before it begins.
- Payment is due as agreed with you in writing, usually through a secure Stripe payment link or invoice. Work may begin once payment or an agreed deposit is received.
- Costs from third parties, such as domain registration, are separate and are your responsibility unless we agree otherwise.
3. Timeline
I aim to deliver a first version in about one to two weeks after I receive payment and everything I need from you. Timelines are estimates. Delays in receiving your content, feedback, or approvals can extend them.
4. What I need from you
You agree to provide accurate business information, text, logos, and photos, and to review drafts promptly. You confirm you own or have permission to use everything you provide.
5. Revisions
Each package includes up to two rounds of reasonable revisions to the first draft. Significant changes beyond the agreed scope may be quoted separately.
6. Ownership
Once your project is paid in full, you own the final website content and design delivered to you. I keep the right to reuse general ideas, code patterns, and techniques. Unless you ask me not to in writing, I may show the finished site in my portfolio.
7. Care plan
The optional care plan is billed monthly and covers hosting, small text and photo edits, and a quick fix if something breaks. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. See the Refund Policy for details.
8. No guarantees of results
I build sites to help customers find and contact you, but I cannot guarantee search rankings, website traffic, calls, or sales.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Digital Touch is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, such as lost profits or lost business. My total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid me for the services at issue.
10. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Projects already paid for are covered by the terms in effect when you paid.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin.
